Live Game Tracking User Guide

Soccer Trak helps you track soccer game actions, stats, and player participation as the game happens. This guide brings together stat tracking and player swaps in one place, so you can manage a match confidently from start to finish.


Top Section: Score and Time Controls

Score Display
  • Home / Visitors Panels: Shows the current score for each team
  • + / − Buttons: Adjust scores as needed
Game Clock Controls
  • Play (▶): Start the match timer
  • Pause (||): Pause the timer
  • Stop (■): Stop the timer completely.
Half Selection
  • Enter the current half directly into the half text box.

Game Action Buttons: Logging Statistics

Important: Always tap the player’s jersey number first, then tap the action button.

  • Goals

Defensive Actions (orange)

Possession and Passing (light blue)

  • Completed Passes

Penalties and Cards (yellow or red)

  • Yellow Card
  • Red Card
  • Fouls Committed

Goalkeeping (gray)

  • Saves

  • Penalties Saved
  • Punch / Catch

Play-by-play Log

  • Displays a chronological list of all recorded actions
  • Useful for reviewing plays and correcting mistakes

Undo Actions

  • Use the Undo (↺) button to remove the most recent logged action.

Player Tracking: Left Sidebar

Jersey Selection

  • Tap a ## jersey number to assign stats to that player.

Team Toggle

  • Home / Visitor Switch ensures stats are logged to the correct team.

Accessing Player Swap

  • Tap the refresh / swap icon at the bottom of the active player list to manage substitutions.

Player Swap Screen: Managing Substitutions

Active and inactive players are clearly separated and color coded for accuracy.

Home Team

  • Active Players (top row): green border
  • Inactive Players (rows 2 to 3): no border

Visitor Team

  • Active Players (top row): red border
  • Inactive Players (rows 2 to 3): no border

Players are sorted by jersey number, from smallest to largest.

Player Identification

  • ## : Jersey number
  • LName : Player’s last name

How to Swap Players

  1. Identify active players by their green border for home or red border for visitors.
  2. Tap an active player to deactivate them. The border will be removed.
  3. Tap an inactive player to activate them. The border will appear.
  4. Check that the Active Player ## header shows the correct number of players.

Save or Cancel

  • Done (✔): Save changes
  • Cancel (✖): Discard changes and go back to the game

Tips for Using Soccer Trak

  • Log actions immediately to ensure accuracy.
  • Always select the player first, then the stat.
  • Use the play-by-play log to review and correct entries
  • Double‑check active players after substitutions.
  • Soccer Trak automatically saves your progress every minute.
